Margaret Althoff graduated from CSU with an undergraduate degree in civil engineering thereby gaining strong math and problem solving skills.  She earned her Juris Doctorate from CU in 1990 with Order of the Coif honors.  She first practiced with Holland and Hart in Denver.  Then Ms Althoff relocated and practiced with  Fischer, Brown, & Gunn of Fort Collins where she had the opportunity to study under Northern Colorado’s most prominent estate planning attorney.   She is a native of Greeley, Colorado.  Her focus is on the complex field of large estates and wealth preservation for the Loveland, Greeley, and Fort Collins business owner, farm owner and professional.  

Margaret Althoff was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado.  Today, she resides in Fort Collins, but spends a fair share of each week in her hometown.  Leisure time is devoted to volunteer work with the Winter Park Ski Patrol, local tennis leagues, anchoring a family of two college age sons plus a semi-retired husband, and a variety of adventure travel, including hiking, biking, diving, and boating.
